How come you never see this picture in any Pittsburgh
scenery calendars?
The George Westinghouse Bridge carrying Route 30 over the Turtle Creek
Valley near Pittsburgh, PA. Using most of those 300mm from near Kennywood
Amusement Park in West Mifflin looking toward East Pittsburgh. Those are
bits of the Steel Phantom and another coaster in the foreground. The Tri-Boro
"expressway" and the Union Railroad bridge pass underneath. Conrail,
the old Pensylvania Railroad main, also passes underneath but cannot be
seen here. This is incredible with the low western Sun shining on it. Got
some Sun here on a variable cloudy day. Friday January 2, 1998.
